For five years, we’ve made our home at the longest-running anime convention in North America. Our signature Tea and Treachery mystery tea was first developed for the fans of A-Kon, we’ve given demonstrations on the odd martial art of Bartitsu, given panels on costume design and production, and performed clown and strongman acts. There’s more, too. Musical performance, character acting, and of course, our Madcap Melodrama.
TEA AND TREACHERY: VICTORIAN MYSTERY TEA
This is our signature event. Each year, we develop new gameplay elements, new scenario, and new characters. Between new puzzles, layers of mystery, and misanthropic characters, our guests have had their work cut out for them in this limited seating, intimate, two-hour event.
THE MADCAP MELODRAMA
It’s loud, it’s noisy, and no one, not even the director, knows what will happen. The Madcap Melodrama combines elements of Victorian-age melodrama stage performance with modern day improv and the raucous A-Kon audience for the sort of thing that breaks convention.
Or ensures we’ll never be asked to come back to this convention.
